There is a mistake in that Hazel had only one daughter, Tammie and one son, Tim. She was proud of both her children.

Hazel has been a part of my life for so long, I dont remember life without her. I have so many fond and funny memories. That woman could chat up a storm, remembered every detail of the story in progress and throw in funny memories for a wonderful story. She never faltered in her steadfast belief that life was to be lived and celebrated. She embraced everything life threw at her with grace and beauty. My hubby Greg and I are honored to be called her son and daughter as she was a mom to us after I lost my mom 8 years ago. It never occurred to any of us that our relationship would end with one of her best friends death. Oh no, we continued to be a big part of Hazels life and enjoyed every minute spent with her. The best part of this is that we got to meet Tammie in person and we too became friends and family. My heart is breaking at our loss but I know Hazel is embracing death as she did life. I asked her to say a special hello to my mom in heaven and Hazel is now free of pain and partying with my mom. She is also with her hubby and son again. I wish Hazel a beautiful, peaceful after life. Cheers to Hazel, my 2nd mom and a best friend.

"While I am sadden to learn that you are mourning the loss of your beloved Hazel, it saddens King Jesus and his Heavenly Father Jehovah even more because death is an enemy that brings pain. Our Heavenly Father is "close to those that grieve and feel brokenhearted as Psalm 34:18 reminds us. As time passes, may comfort from many shared family memories bring greater consolation to all. The fact that you have memories, certainly shows that Almighty God Jehovah has memories of Hazel, whose life he longs to restore to perfect heath and enjoy "everlasting life" on Paradise Earth. Freedom from danger, pollution, pain, suffering, sickness and death are guaranteed through his son King Jesus. (John 3:16, John 5:28-28, Revelation 21:3-4 and Isaiah 65:17-25) You are warmly invited to visit this free website of comfort, JW.ORG and enjoy these Bible promises and view the consoling video, "IS THERE HOPE FOR THE DEAD?"

The loss of a cherished loved one is the most devastating experiences a family can face. At times, the loss may seem unbearable. Please know that there are family and friends who care and more importantly Psalm 34:18 tells us that "God is near to those that are broken at heart. He is the God of all comfort. God will comfort you during this difficult time of grief. Our prayers are also with you and your family.
