Charlotta Lovelace (Rich) Fidler

Sumter, SC… Charlotta Ellen Rich Lovelace Fidler, age 87, beloved wife of the late William Fidler, died on Friday, April 26, 2019 at Prisma Health Tuomey.

Born in Casar, NC, she was a daughter of the late Carlos Rich and Artie Cook Rich.  Charlotta was a dedicated employee of Tuomey Hospital and retired after many years of service.  She was a faith member of St. Paul Baptist Church in Casar, NC and Bible Fellowship Church in Sumter.  She will be remembered as a very loving and devoted  mother, grandmother, Sister and friend.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Surviving are: one daughter, Janice Lovelace of Chapin, SC, one sister, Gail Suddeth and husband Earl of NC and three grandchildren, Daniel Bowman, Erin Ayers and David T. Meyers.

In addition to her parents and husband, Charlotta  was preceded in death by her first husband, of 43 years, Carl H. Lovelace; two sons, William Gary Lovelace and Danny Carl Lovelace; two brothers, Earl Rich and Johnny Rich and one sister, Wilma Neal.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 1:00pm at Bible Fellowship Church in Sumter with the Rev. Chris M. Moore officiating.  Burial will follow in the St. Paul Baptist Church Cemetery, Casar, NC.
