Sumter, SC…Herbert Bill Mager, age 66, beloved husband of Mattie Estella Chisam Mager, died on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at his residence.
Born in Cleveland, OH, he was the son of the late Earl Andrew Mager and Doris May Kendzierski Mager. Mr. Mager was a good husband and father who always worked hard to provide for his family. He was always looking out for others and he enjoyed fishing and gardening. He will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.
In addition to his wife Mattie of Sumter, surviving are one daughter, Amanda Jean Louise Mager Headley of South Bloomfield, OH; two brothers, Earl Andrew Mager, Jr. and his wife Dolores of Kissimmee, FL and Frank Donald Mager and his wife Eva of Kissimmee, FL; one sister, Judy Ann Webb and her husband John of Augusta, ME; and two grandchildren, Trinity Lee and Abel Lee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Richard Mager.
Services will be private.
