Jacquelin (Cook) Allgood

Sumter, SC …….. Jacquelyn Cook Allgood, age 90, beloved wife of the late Vernon Lester Allgood, died on Sunday, March 17, 2019 at her residence.

Born in Ft. Meyers, Florida, she was the daughter of the late, Earnest Cook and Eula Stokes Mack. Jacquelyn was the former owner of RuVelle Dress Shop. She was a past candidate for Sumter City Council and a former member of the Sunset Country Club. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Surviving are: one daughter, Pamela Bruce of Sumter; four grandchildren, Marshall Preddy, Scott Preddy, Stephen Bruce and David Bruce and six great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharyn Allgood Branstrom.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019 in the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel at 4:00 pm.
