James H Lowrey

Horatio, SC …… James Herbert Lowery, age 66, beloved husband of Debra Ann Hall Hicks died on Sunday, April 14, 2019 at Prisma Health Tuomey.

Born in Sumter, he was the son of the late, Henry Lowery and Ruth Ray Lowery. James was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved people and loved to make them laugh. He enjoyed music and spent time playing, singing and writing. He was a child prodigy on the piano. He will be remembered as a loving husband, brother and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Surviving in addition to his wife Debra are: one brother, Phillip Lowery, of Dalzell; one sister, Jennie Hoover, of Sumter; one nephew, Danny Hoover and two nieces, Abby Hoover and Tiffany Standley and her husband James.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Henry Lowery.
