Jennifer Lynn (Mood) Pillsbury

Sumter, SC….. Jennifer Lynn Mood Pillsbury, age 52, widow of Jon Pillsbury, died on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at MUSC in Charleston, SC.

Jennifer was born in Sumter, the daughter of Robert Ashleigh Mood (Lynn) and Arnicia Miller Snethen. Jennifer loved Clemson with a passion. She coached baseball for the Parks and Recreation Department. She attended every game her boys played until her health failed. She considered the other baseball players as her extended family. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her parents are her children, Ashleigh Blair Alligood, Robert Thomas “Tommy” Pillsbury and Travis Jennings Pillsbury of the home; one sister, Leigh Benenhaley and her husband Sonny; special nephew to her, Cole Benenhaley; special aunt, Celia Dunlap and cousins, Beth Watcher (Mike), Melissa Ridgeway (Marcus) and Stephanie McLeod (Kirk).

A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 14, 2019 at 11:00 in the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sammy Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be, Cole Benenhaley, Robert Benenhaley, Trent Frye, David Frey, Tucker Chapman, Ross Connor, Johnathon Barkley and Austin Barkley.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 13, 2019 from 4-6 pm at Bullock Funeral Home and other times at the home of her mother, 1109 Chivalry St., Sumter, SC 29154.
