Sumter, SC…Jerri Ann Hamilton Russell, age 72, beloved wife of the late Kenneth Lee Russell, died on Monday, September 9, 2019 at Prisma Health Tuomey.
Born in Aurora, IL, she was the daughter of the late James and Virginia Hamilton. She was an animal lover and was an advocate for the well being of all animals. She was very generous and supported many charities. She will be remembered as a very loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Surviving are one daughter, Jennifer Davis-Pitt and her husband Coyman of Dalzell; one grandson, Joshua Daniel Roberts of Dalzell; and six sisters, Jane, Gwen, Nina, Sheila, Christine, and Jackie.
Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sumter SPCA, 1140 South Guignard, Sumter, SC 29150.
