Joshua Rian Moore

Joshua Rian Moore, born November 17, 1988, in Sumter, South Carolina, died on the evening of June 6, 2019 due to injuries sustained from a singular vehicle accident in Fontanafredda, Italy.

Joshua graduated from Sumter High School in 2007 and proudly served in the United States Air Force until the time of his death. He served at Moody AFB in Valdosta, GA and Aviano AFB in Aviano, Italy, with tours and deployments to Afghanistan, Italy, Qatar, and Turkey. He had a passion for his family, football, fishing, cars and being outdoors.
Joshua is survived by his wife, Angela Moore, and daughters, Alayna Marie (6) and Austin Claire (2) of Fontanafredda, Italy; mother, Elaine B. Moore, and father, Dean Benenhaley both of Sumter, South Carolina; maternal grandmother, Jackie Brownlee of Sumter, South Carolina; and brother, Christopher Moore (Tabatha) of Raleigh, North Carolina; three nieces and two nephews, Monica, Makinly, Jonathan, Craig, and Amelia; along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Jonathan Moore; maternal grandfather, Charles C. Brownlee; paternal grandparents, John Mark and Lillie Benenhaley; Uncles, Cliff and Cal Benenhaley and cousin, Kellie D. Caples.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 12:00 – 2:00 pm at Bullock Funeral Home, 1190 Wilson Hall Road, Sumter, SC 29150.

A funeral service will follow at the Sumter High School Memorial Stadium at 4:00pm on Saturday, June 22, 2019.
