Lieutenant Colonel Linnette Maude Anderson

LTC Anderson was Born March 6, 1927 in Harlem, NY. She was a daughter of the late David Anderson and Louise Cadogan Anderson. She gained her Heavenly reward on September 16, 2019.
Linnette graduated from high school at the age of 16 and entered Brooklyn College to pursue a career in nursing. She continued her education in nursing at Lincoln Hospital in New York. After graduation with a bachelor’s degree in nursing, Linnette entered the United States Army. She served her country proudly for over 20 years and retired at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. She had many career accomplishments including being named head nurse, chief of nursing and was also a surgical nurse.
LTC Anderson, we thank you for your honorable and faithful service.
Although Linnette never married or had children of her own, she had a very loving family. She leaves behind, to cherish her memory, four nieces, two nephews, three great nephews and many others.
Aunt Linnette, you are loved and missed, but it is time to go home.
