Sumter, SC…Marc Joseph Koehler, age 40, beloved father of Devin, Austin, and Brett Koehler, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at his residence.
Born in Austin, Texas, he is the son of Betty and Dennis Koehler and brother of Adam Koehler all of Sumter, SC.
Marc was an avid relic hunter and exceptional guitarist. He enjoyed studying his ancestry as well as the history of South Carolina. He delved into many hobbies such as studying the universe, music, art, and fishing. His kind and loving heart and smile will be sorely missed.
Surviving, in addition to his children, parents, and brother is his partner of many years, Brittany Gainey, mother of Austin and Brett. Also, Jennifer Howell, mother of Rhiannon Lemon and Devin Koehler. He is also survived by a large extended family and many friends.
Services will be private.
