Michelle Lee (Rogers) Carraway

Sumter…...Michelle Lee Rogers Carraway, age 44, beloved wife of the late Thomas Edward Carraway Sr., died on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at McLeod Regional Health Center in Florence, SC.

Born in Sumter, Michelle was a daughter of the late Nancy Mairiam Altman Ardis.  She will be remembered as a very loving and compassionate soul with a giant caring heart.  She was always willing to help anyone in need.  She enjoyed playing bingo any chance that she could.  Her true joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She will be remembered as a very loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by; four sons, Justin Carraway (Alyssa), Thomas Carraway III, Christopher Carraway (Jodi) and Rodger Davis; one daughter, Kayla Johnson (Marco); three brothers, Robert Rogers (Kim), Christopher Rogers and Brandon Ardis (Courtney); three sisters, Angela Galloway (Michael), Faith Ardis, Misty Kazmierski (Eddie) all of Sumter and nine grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and mother, she was predeceased by; one brother, Karl Rogers and her grandmother, Frances Altman.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at 1:30 pm at the Green Acres Assembly of God.

A graveside service will follow at 3:00 pm in the Paxville Cemetery.
