Albert Edward Palmer

Dalzell, SC …. Albert Edward Palmer, age 78, beloved husband of Margaret Susan Fuller Palmer, died on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at his residence.

Born in Syracuse, NY, he was the son of the late Albert Palmer and Winifred Smith Palmer.  Al was known to be a very kind and compassionate man.  He was extremely intelligent and very generous.  He was a very devoted, and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife Sue, a son, Edward A. Palmer and his wife Tawny of Spartanburg, SC; two daughters, Peggy Vanderwater of Cicero, NY and Heather Vanderwater of Capris, FL; and five brothers and sisters, Chuckie, Shirley, Eva, Wendy, and Lola; Six grandchildren, Christopher, Taylor, Meghan, Nalani, Benjamin, and Bianca; and a great grandson, Quincy.          

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Alan “Bud” and Midgie and three sisters, Laura, Carol, and Joanie.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at 12:00 pm in the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tommy McDonald and Dr. Ron Taylor officiating.

The family will receive friends, one hour prior to the service on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, from 11:00 – 12:00 pm at Bullock Funeral Home.
