Benjamin McNeese, III Obituary
Sumter, SC…Benjamin “Benny” Parrott McNeese, III, age 68, died on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at Prisma Health Tuomey.
Born in Sumter, he was a son of the late Benjamin Parrott McNeese, Jr. and Marjorie Lyndon McNeese. Benny worked for many years as a corrections officer for the jail. He was a member of the Claremont Masonic Lodge and loved to ride and travel. His dog, “Momma” was his faithful companion. Benny was a very loving and compassionate man that was loved by so many people.
He is survived by; a brother, Johnny McNeese of MS; a sister, Nancy Noland and special friends and caretakers, Kathy and Eddie Kennedy of Sumter.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Lynn McNeese.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at 11:00 am in the Sumter Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the home of Kathy and Eddie Kennedy, 2240 Waterwheel Drive, Sumter, SC 29154, located in the Cain’s Point Subdivision.
