Bonnie Kate (Newman) Warren

Sumter, SC…Bonnie Kate Newman Warren, age 85, wife of the late Thomas “Bill" Warren, died on Sunday, June 28, 2020 at her residence.

Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Oral Kenneth Newman Sr. and Addie Marie Christmas Newman.  Bonnie was a faithful member of Bible Fellowship Church.  She was employed with Maddison Industries for over forty years.  Her true joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She will be remembered as a very loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister and friend.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by: two sons, Thomas Kenneth Warren and his wife Marilyn and Richard L. Warren and his wife Sue, both of Sumter;  two son-in-laws, Samuel Burns of Columbia and Mark Lowder of Sumter; two brothers, William Richard Newman and his wife Ann of Sumter and Francis DeLorme Newman and his wife Gloria of Timmonsville; two sisters, Violet Lee Newman Pruitt of Wade, NC and Jennie Newman Seagale and her husband Jack of Colorado Springs, CO; eleven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by; two daughters, Rosemary Warren Burns and Debra Kay Warren Lowder, a brother, Oral Kenneth Newman Jr. and a sister, Ellen Olivia Newman Tyson.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at 3:00 pm at Bullock Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in the Sumter Cemetery.
