Dianna Kay (Stone) Bohan

Sumter, SC …. Dianna Kay Stone Bohan, age 76, beloved wife of the late Richard T. Bohan, died on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at Prisma Health Tuomey.

Born in Bicknell, IN, she was the daughter of the late Raymond K. Stone and Edna M. Pickel Stone. Dianna was a hard worker and was very dedicated to her job.  She loved to watch Hallmark movies and shop on QVC.  She was a faithful member of the Bishopville Church of God and loved her church family dearly.  Her true joy in life came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Surviving to cherish her memories are; three daughters, Pam Cullison (Bill) of Greenwood, IN, Susan Hanks (Keith) of Sumter, SC, and Debbie Gelderman (Robert) of Summerville, SC; a bonus son, Edward Bohan (David) of New York; four bonus daughters, Anne Bohan (Jim) of Groton, MA, Ellen Bohan (Valeria) of Newark, NJ, Mary Anderson (Dan) of Columbia, MD, and Rose Ambrose (Chris) of Highland, MD; two brothers, Kenny Stone (Susan) of
Bradenton, FL, and Steve Stone (Pam) of Parrish, FL; two sisters, Janice Tatro (Gary) of Davison, MI, and Rita Dyer (John) of Parrish, FL; seven grandchildren, Bruce Burchett, Jr. (Whitney), John Burchett (Leiah), Austin Cullison, Trey Gelderman, Allison Cullison, Kirkland Hanks, and Jeremy Hanks; six bonus grandchildren, Megan Brinkman, Jessie Anderson, Avery Luening, Sally Ambrose, Alex Luening, and Charlie Ambrose; four great grandchildren, Peyton, Marilyn, Easton, and Landon; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Dianna is preceded in death by a brother, Richard Stone, a sister, Margaret Stone-Hill and a niece, Angie Dillahay.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at the home of her daughter, Susan Hanks.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at 2:00 pm in the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Keith Hanks and Rev. Paul Priest officiating.

Dianna’s favorite color was purple, so the family respectfully request that you wear something purple in her memory.
