Dianne B (Bush) Spivey

Sumter, SC…..Beverly Dianne Bush Spivey, age 67, beloved wife of Wayne L. Spivey, died on Monday, March 2, 2020 at her residence.

Born in Sumter, she was the daughter of the late Julian Henry Bush and Virginia Lee Partin Bush. Mrs. Spivey had a long career with Southern Bell, now Bell South and was an extremely hard worker. She was avid lover of all animals and flowers.  Her true joy in life was spending time with her family.  She will be remembered as a very loving wife, sister aunt and friend.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two sisters. Cynthia B. Davis and her husband Ernie Gainey and Lisa Bush both of Sumter; two nephews, Stephen P. Davis and his wife Emily of Bluffton and Sean Davis of Sumter; one niece, Stephanie Hopkins-Hudson and her husband Patrick of Sumter; one great niece, Scarlett Davis of Bluffton and two great nephews, Ethan Bishop and Brayden Bishop of Sumter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother in law, Tommy Ray Spivey and a sister in law, Brenda Beard.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 1:00 pm in the Bullock funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends, one hour prior to the service, from 12:00-1:00 pm on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Bullock Funeral Home.
