Dalzell, SC…Eric Douglas Bayne, age 44, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2020 at home with his family.

Eric was born on September 7, 1975 at Shaw Air Force Base, Sumter, SC. He was the son of Brenda and Don Sherman.

Eric was "special needs” young man. He blessed his family with lots of love and joy. Many doctors, nurses, and teachers have blessed his life with their care. Eric enjoyed the holidays, celebrating birthdays, and in his younger years enjoyed traveling. Heaven's Special Child has returned home leaving many precious memories.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Tunisia M. Cotton and her husband Richard; niece, Kelsey; grandmother, Betty R. Trantham; other family members, Mr. and Mrs. Theron Darieng; Annette Cribb, Cindy and Don Lyles and many nieces and nephews.

Services for Eric will be private.
