Florence E. Flanagan, 97 of Sumter, SC, died on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 in Florida.
Born in Bayonne, NY on July 15, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence M. and Agnes Shanaghan Hall.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Flanagan; a son, John Flanagan and her two sisters, Rose Marie McGlynn and Marion Hollis.
Survivors include four children: Peter Flanagan (Christine) of Sumter; Ellen Warburton (CW) of Pompano Beach, FL; Agnes Beronja (Tom) of Little River, SC; Kathy Lomuscio (Rich) of Summerville, SC and a daughter-in-law, Maureen Flanagan of Fort Lauderdale, FL.
A proud graduate of Holy Family Academy in Bayonne, NJ, Florence enjoyed life to the fullest and will be missed by her grandchildren; Tina Cromer (Paul); Joseph Flanagan (Michelle); Jennifer Hill (Tommy); Patrick Flanagan (Heather); Timothy Flanagan (Anne-Kathryn); Michael Beronja (Julie); Kent Flanagan (Catherine); Kelly Chambliss (Hunter); Daniel Lomuscio (Lauren) and Lauren Lomuscio. She also leaves behind twenty great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will hold a private graveside service and will have a mass celebrated in her honor at a later date.
