Heyward Junior McLeod

Sumter, SC…Heyward Junior McLeod, age 63, husband of Mary Mitchell McLeod, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.

Born June 17, 1956 in Sumter, he was the son of Betty Jean and Richard McLeod of Sumter.

In addition to his wife and parents, surviving are: one son, Heyward J. McLeod Jr. and his wife Jody of Sumter; one daughter, Sara LeGrande McLeod of Sumter; three brothers, Willie McLeod and his wife Linda of Sumter, Archie McLeod and his wife Gloria of Sumter; and Iley McLeod and his wife Jackie of Bishopville; two granddaughters, Lilly Grace Griffin and Layken Cains.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at his home in Sumter between 3:00-6:00 pm.
