Sumter, SC ….. Joseph Earl McIntosh, age 62, died on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at his residence.
Born in Columbia, SC, he was the son of the late Joe and Etheleen McIntosh. Earl
was the owner/operator of McIntosh Paint and Body Shop. He put his faith in God. He was an avid Clemson fan and enjoyed playing golf and shooting pool. He loved mopar and car shows. His true joy in life came from spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He was always supporting them at their beauty pageants and any other activities they were involved in. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by; a daughter, Tanya McIntosh Harper and her husband Anthony of Hanover, MD; A special niece, Shannon Barnett and her husband Lewis of Lake City, SC; two grandchildren, Natalie Harper and Nathaniel Harper; two godchildren, Landon Barnett and Anah Barnett and two sisters, Debbie McIntosh Young and Susie McIntosh.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Bo McIntosh.
A funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 11:00 am in the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Victor VanRas Officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 – 11:00 am on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Bullock Funeral Home.
