Sumter, SC... Linda Mae Truett Paranto, age 68, beloved wife of the late David William Paranto Sr., died on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Palmetto Health Richland.
Born in Sumter, she was the daughter of the late Willie Paul Truett and the late Letha K. Hudson Truett. Linda retired from the mammography department at Palmetto Health Tuomey after many years of faithful service. She was married to the love of her life, David, for over 45 years. Linda was a kind hearted lady that loved helping others in any way that she could. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be remembered as a very loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Linda is survived by; one son, David William Paranto Jr. of Sumter; one daughter, Tina Duke and her fiancé Christopher McCall of Sumter; five grandchildren, Ashley Paranto, William Paul Paranto, Alison Paranto, Shelby Paranto and Hailey Duke and eight great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Tim Truett and Geno Truett.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 29, 2017 at 3:00 pm in the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 2-3 pm on Friday, September 29, 2017 at Bullock Funeral Home and other times at the home of her daughter.
