Margaret Scott Obituary
Sumter, SC … Margaret Eugenia Stack Scott, age 84, beloved wife of the late MSGT Jimmie Scott, died on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at NHC Sumter.
Born in Sumter County, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Nelson Stack, Sr., and Onie Eloise Cubbage Stack. Margaret was a longtime member of St. Mark United Methodist Church. She was a loving wife to her husband Jimmie before his death and will be remembered as a very loving mother, sister, and friend. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by; a son, James Perry Scott of Sumter; a brother, Thomas J. Stack, and his wife Maryann of Sumter; two sisters, Linda Stack Brown and her husband Tommy of Sumter and Mary Stack Rose of Orangeburg.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Charles N. Stack, Jr and a brother-in-law, Charles Rose.
A private family graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Wes Conner officiating.
