Monica Ann Harbuck

Sumter, SC…Monica Ann Harbuck, age 85, beloved wife of the late Leonard Ray Harbuck, died on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at her residence.

Born in St. Albans, VT, she was the daughter of the late Clifford Joseph Benjamin and Eva Matte Benjamin. Mrs. Harbuck retired from DHEC after 25 years of service. She enjoyed travelling and volunteering at St. Anne Catholic Church and The Shephard Center. In addition, she was an animal lover. Mrs. Harbuck was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church.

Surviving are: one daughter, Vicki McCarthy; one granddaughter, Eva McCarthy both of Sumter; and one sister, Carol McDougle of Kokomo, IN.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Clifton Francis Benjamin, and Ronald Arnold Benjamin.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021, at 2:00 pm in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
