Mottie Jeanette "Jan" (Touchberry) Berry

Sumter, SC …. Mottie Jeanette “Jan” Touchberry Berry, age 79, beloved wife of the late John Milton "Mickey" Berry, died on Friday, November 26, 2021 at her residence.

Born in Clarendon County, she was the daughter of the late Mottie Edward Touchberry and the late Miriam Lowder Touchberry.  Jan was a professional bowler and loved to play golf, shoot pool, fashion and was an accomplished artist.  She was dedicated to her family and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.                 

She is survived by; a daughter, Kellie Lynn Berry Barkley; a goddaughter, Laurie Estes; a special son-in-law, Bill Foxworth; a brother, Bobby Touchberry and his wife Lisa; three sisters, Jo Quesenberry and her husband Dean, Maxine Powell, Viva Odom and a special sister-in-law, Peggy Mathis; ten grandchildren, Kenny, Stacy (Ryan), Nikki (Chris), Shane, Brook (Laura), Amber (Kyle), Lance (Noah), Dylan (Zeena), Bryce and Andy (Koda); nine great grandchildren, Jaiden, Harmony, Kole, Gracie, Brelynn, Camryn, Tucker, Jacob, and Dylan, and a special friend Ann Alberson.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Berry, a daughter, Elizabeth Berry “Beth” Foxworth, two sons-in-law, D.D. Barkley and Alok Patel, and a sister, Betty Elaine Touchberry.

A visitation will be held on Monday, November 29, 2021, from 3:00-5:00 pm at Bullock Funeral Home.
