Patricia Catherine (Smith) Johnson

Sumter, SC…Patricia Catherine Smith Johnson, age 50, beloved wife of 21 years to Steven James Johnson, died on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Prisma Health Tuomey.

Born in Evanston, IL, she was a daughter of Sharon Kathleen Spiegel Smith and the late Robert Llewellyn Smith Jr.  Patricia devoted her life to her family and she was a mother not only to her children, but all of their friends and anyone else that visited her home.  She loved to dance but her true joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandson.  She will be remembered as a very loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by; three daughters, Brittany Leigh Barfield and her husband Christopher of Dalzell, Stephanie Kathleen Fowler and her husband Michael of Dalzell and Elizabeth Cameron Johnson of Sumter; one brother, Robert L. Smith and his life partner, Grace of Dalzell; one sister, Rebecca Gwyn Bostock of Elizabeth City, NC; one grandson, Connor Barfield; step-father, Charles Hurlburt and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 26, 2020, from 12:00-2:00 pm at Bullock Funeral Home
