Patrick Alan Bubacz

Sumter, SC ….. Patrick Alan Bubacz, age 63, beloved husband of 43 years to Linda Ann McKlevis Bubacz, died on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Prisma Health Tuomey.

Born in Elmira, NY, he was the son of the late Andrew Bubacz and June Smith Bubacz.  Patrick began his military career in the United States Navy and later transferred into the United States Air Force.  He served for over 23 years retiring as a MSGT.  After his career in the military, Patrick served as an ROTC instructor in Florence County.  He enjoyed both camping and hunting, but his true joy in life came from spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.  He will be remembered as a very loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, son in law and friend.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his loving wife, Linda, he is survived by: a loving son, Ryan Bubacz and his wife Kelly of Webster, NY; two brothers, Matthew Bubacz of KY and Michael Bubacz and his wife Oletta of WI; father and mother in law, Stephen “Tony” and Phyllis McKlevis of NY; a brother in law, Scott McKlevis of FL; two sisters in law, Pamela Owen and her husband Kirk and Elaine Ashlaw and her husband Carl all of NY; two grandchildren, who knew him as Papa, Chloe Bubacz and Cooper Bubacz and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Andrew Stephen Bubacz.

A funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 3:00 pm in the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at 1:00 pm in the Ft. Jackson National Cemetery with full military honors.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00 – 3:00 pm, on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Bullock Funeral Home.
