Paul Antoine Racicot

Rembert, SC… Paul Antoine Racicot, age 74, beloved husband of Peggy Racicot, died on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at Mcleod Regional Medical Center.

Born in Southbridge, MA, he was the son of the late Edward Racicot and Doris Suprnant Racicot.  Paul was a member of the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a MSGT after over 21 years of service.  After his career in the military, Paul also worked for many years at the Eaton Corporation in Sumter.  He will be remembered as a very loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Surviving to cherish his memory are, his wife Peggy; four sons, Paul A. Racicot, Jr and his life partner Alexis, Neil Racicot, Oleg Kulik And his wife Natalia, and Andrey Tsepelev and his wife Olga; two brothers, Edward Racicot and his wife Aline, and Gerald Racicot and his wife Joan; one sister, Mary Ann Spenard; and nine grandchildren, Julia Racicot, Gavin Racicot, Ksenia Kulik, Maria Kulik, Dmitriy Kulik, Michael Tsepelev, Alexander Tsepelev, Nikolay Tsepelev, and Andrey Tsepelev.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Angela Racicot and a brother-in-law, Richard Spenard.

A graveside service with held on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at 11:00 am in the Ft. Jackson Nation Cemetery with full military honors.
