Robin Gail Robinson

Sumter, SC…Robin Gail Robinson, age 62, beloved wife of the late Willie Robinson, died on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at her residence.

Born in New York, she was a daughter of Patricia Nelson Abele and the late Robert Nelson. Mrs. Robinson was always there to help her family and was their biggest cheerleader. She was very loved by everyone and she always talked about how she couldn’t wait to go to heaven and see her daddy and husband. She was always there for people like they were her own grandchildren. She loved her family especially her grandchildren and will be dearly missed by all of them. She was of the Christian Faith.

Surviving are: one son, Thomas Lawrence of Florida, two daughters, Patricia Fleming of Sumter, SC and Tammy Hudson and her husband Chris of Florida; three sisters, Cheryl Ury and her husband George of Florida, Donna Espada and her husband Taquio of Florida, and Debbie Rucks and her husband Scott of Georgia; six grandchildren, Melissa Fleming and future grandson-in-law Andrew Harris, Trace Fleming, Payton Fleming, Christopher Hudson, Emily Hudson, and David Lawrence.

In addition to her husband and father, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Bertha Roberts and grandfather, William Roberts.

Services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sumter SPCA, 1140 S. Guignard Drive, Sumter, SC 29150.
