Rodney Reed Obituary

Sumter, SC…Rodney Lynn Reed , age 63, died on Monday, December 7, 2020 at Prisma Health Tuomey.

Born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, he was a son of the late Raymond Eugene Reed and Lila Mae Hughes Reed. Rodney spent most of his life working in the construction industry with his family.

He is survived by; a daughter, Melissa Renee Reed of North Charleston; a son Michael Raymond Reed of Sumter; a step daughter, Daphne Trimnal and four grandchildren, Mackenzie Reed Lyons, Austin Paul Lyons, Dallas Reed and Elliott Reed.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by; a son, Rodney Joseph Reed and a brother, Michael David Reed.

Due to Covid-19, a service will be held at a later date.
