Ruby Moon Obituary
Sumter, SC…Ruby Lee Moon, age 98, beloved wife of the late Willis Joel Moon, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2020 at Prisma Health Tuomey.
Born on March 22, 1922 in Snowhill, TN, she was a daughter of the late Jessie Schoate and Bessie Chiles Schoate.
She is survived by; two sons, Perry Martin Moon (Patricia) of Deland, FL and James A Holland (Gill) of Sumter, SC; eight grandchildren and seven Great Grand Children.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by; a son, Ernest Lee Holland of Florence, SC; a daughter, Shirley Ann Lewis of Indianapolis, IN; three brothers and five sisters.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 12:00 pm in the Cumberland Memorial Gardens, Fayetteville, NC.
Due to Covid-19, the family will not be receiving friends at their residence.
The family would like to thank the staff of The Gardens at Sumter for their years of loving and compassionate care.
