Sandra Dee Jackson Johnson

Sumter, SC……… Sandra Dee Jackson Johnson, age 63, died on Monday, May 22, 2023, at her home.

Ms. Johnson was born in Sumter, SC, a daughter of Betty English Jackson and the late Archy Jackson. She was self-employed for over 20 years doing what brought her the utmost joy, cleaning houses, dog sitting and taking care of the elderly. Her greatest achievement would be being so strong willed and surviving 12 years of life after being told she had 4 years to live following her first diagnosis of lung cancer.

Surviving in addition to her mother are: One son, David Johnson of Sumter, SC; One daughter, Celeste Allemond and her husband Adam of Sumter, SC; One brother John Jackson of Sumter, SC; Three sisters, Linda Evans and her husband Jack, Marie Dubose, and Karen Jackson Ardis and her husband Buddy, all of Sumter; Three grandchildren, Alexus Wilkinson, Ethan Wilkinson, and Austin Allemond; and Two great-grandchildren, Callen Cook and Clayton Chandler.

She was preceded in death by her father, a brother Glenn Jackson, and a sister, Pam McAllister.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 26th, 2023 at 12:00pm in the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tommy McDonald officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 11:00am-12:00pm, Friday, May 26th, 2023 at Bullock Funeral Home.

In memory of her love for dogs, memorials may be made to the Sumter SPCA, 1140 S. Guignard Dr., Sumter, SC 29150.
