Stanley John Meyer

Bishopville, SC…Stanley John Meyer, age 68, beloved husband of the late Janet Ann Bone Meyer, died on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center.

Born on August 3, 1952 in New Orleans, LA, he was the son of the late Roland Harry Meyer, Jr. and Eunice Mae Paton. Mr. Meyer retired from Rexam after thirty-seven years.  He loved golf, movies, and small engine repair.

Surviving are: one son, Sedwick Vern Hopkins, Jr. of Bishopville, two daughters, Darlene A. Henderson and her husband Ben of Sumter, and Denise Meyer and her finance Branden Howe of Lugoff; three grandchildren, Christina M. Henderson, Grace Meyer, and Chase Ayden Howe, and his Yorkie side kick, Jack.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Champ Squires officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 from 1:00- 2:00 pm at Bullock Funeral Home.
