Susan Gallant Obituary
Sumter, SC…Susan Jane Hedge Gallant, age 74, beloved wife of the late Raymond Richard Gallant, died on Thursday, July 15, 2021.
Born in Worchester, MA, she was the daughter of the late John Hedge and Rita Dineen Hedge.
Surviving are: one son, Jason John Gallant of Sumter, SC; two daughters, Bridgette Ann Etling of Sumter, SC and Michelle Harris and her husband Benford of Nebo, NC; five grandchildren, Collin Etling and his wife Caitlin, Jonathan Etling, Jake Gallant, Abigail Gallant, and Gracie Rose Gallant; one brother-in-law, Phillip Dussault of Big Pine Key, FL; one sister-in-law, Cheryl Ashe and her husband William of Oxford, MA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, James Hedge, and Jack Hedge, and two sisters, Mary Coyne, and Judith Dussault.
Services will be held a later date in Massachusetts.
