Dorothy Jane (Boyer) Baga

Sumter, SC…Dorothy Jane Boyer Teeters Baga, age 86, beloved wife of the late Edward Baga, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 20, 2019 at The Gardens in Sumter.

Born in Coldwater, MI, she was a daughter of the late Ernest Eugene Boyer and Gladys May Smead Boyer.  Mrs. Baga enjoyed dancing and was a member of several dance clubs.  She also enjoyed sewing, crafting, knitting, crocheting and playing games.  Her true joy in life was spending time with her family.  She will be remembered as a very loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.  She often said that her fondest memory was her 80th birthday, which she shared with her family.

Surviving to cherish her memory is one son, Mark Baga and his wife Lori of Battle Creek, MI; two daughters, Lori A. Windham and her husband Eddie of Sumter and Jane Baga of Battle Creek, MI; nine grandchildren, Ronald Ervans, Robert Ervans, Rodger Ervans, Jason Burt, Amanda Teeters, Trevor Myers and wife Audrey, Sarah Lagro and her husband Corey, Diana Riegel and her husband Brenton and Bethany Costello and her husband Luke; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by one daughter, Vicki Windham; three brothers and three sisters.

Services will be private.
