Dorothy Elizabeth (Deeley) LaRochelle

Sumter, SC…Dorothy "Dottie” Elizabeth Deeley LaRochelle, age 81, wife of the late Lawrence LaRochelle, died on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at the Gardens at Sumter.

Born in Jersey City, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Mary Glover and William Deeley. Mrs. LaRochelle was a nurses aid for many years and had a true servants hearts. She was a dedicated mother who loved her children and family. She loved walking, bowling, and horses. She also enjoyed spending time in Arizona. She attended Veritas Church.

Surviving are: two sons, Robert Orazi and Tod Orazi; two daughters, Deborah Burkett and her spouse Mark and Catherine Orazi and her spouse Tara; one sister, Doris Samuels; along with twelve grandchildren and twenty three great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Deeley; and two sisters, Jean Sanna and Flo Davis.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at 3:00 pm in the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
