Frances Lee (Nichols) Crosby

Sumter, SC…Frances Lee Nichols Crosby, age 87, died on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Palmetto Health Tuomey.

Born in Turbeville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Harry O. Nichols and the late Virginia Deer Johnston. She was a hairdresser for over fifty years and was the owner and operator of Iris Beauty Shop. She enjoyed reading books and loved spending time with her family. Her last four years were spent at NHC of Sumter, where she received excellent care.

Surviving are: two sons, Tye Hanson of Sumter, and Kim Hanson and his wife Karen of Columbia; one daughter, Christie Secrest and her husband Steven of Sumter; one brother, Jack Nichols and his wife of Beverley of Irmo; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Jessica, Jonathan, and Chad, and eight great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her one granddaughter, Heather Dollar.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2018 at 11:30 am in the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ron Bower officiating.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 5, 2018, one hour prior to the service, from 10:30 to 11:30 am at Bullock Funeral Home.
