Michael Davino Obituary

Michael Edward Davino, born June 29, 1961, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2019 at the age of 57.  He had the remarkable good fortune of being a twin and his brother, Thomas, remained his close friend throughout his life. Thomas was the tall one and Michael was the outgoing one; they made a great team.

Michael loved his family first and foremost. His father Thomas and mother Anne, his sister Lori and her husband Lon, his brother Mark and his wife Rebekah, his sister Jackie and her husband Mike, and his sister Nikki. He had many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and took pleasure in their lives. His uncles and aunts and cousins were a loving part of his life. He had many good friends but Frenchie and his wife Terry were special throughout his life.

Michael had an engaging personality, a smile that made his eyes twinkle, and he made friends wherever he went. He was perfectly suited to radio, and country music was his passion. He worked for Country 92.5 in Litchfield, Connecticut. More recently Michael had the opportunity to pursue his dreams of travel and made several big trips, visiting Egypt, China, Hawaii and Italy.

A friend told his mother, upon hearing that Michael passed away, that Michael told him he loved three things most in this life: his mom, his dogs Lexi and Abby, and his Mustang!

Michael is preceded in death by his father Thomas, and just 8 months ago by his beloved sister Nikki. Michael was there to lend Nikki comfort during her battle with cancer and we like to think that Nikki was there, along with his dad, to embrace him as he made his journey.

Our family will miss our brother with all our hearts and we are grateful for all the memories we have shared together. Godspeed Michael.
