Richard Stankoven Obituary
Sumter, SC…Richard Andrew Stankoven, age 78, beloved husband of Evelyn Holden Stankoven, died on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Prisma Health Tuomey.
Born in Litchfield, IL, he was the son of the late Dominik Stankoven and Dorothy Hays Stankoven. Mr. Stankoven served in the US Army as a combat engineer and later retired as a coal miner. He was member of the Sumter VFW Post 3034.
Surviving is his wife, Evelyn Holden Stankoven of Sumter.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 4:00 pm at the Sumter VFW Post 3034.
