Sumter, S.C…….Allen Scott Thomas, age 69, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2024. Allen led a life marked by service, dedication and an unwavering commitment to his family and community.
A proud veteran, Allen served his country with honor in the United States Navy, and later continued to serve his community as a corrections officer.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Kenneth Caleb Kelly and Nanci Louise Kelley.
He leaves behind his sister, Toni Ramsey of Sumter, SC, his brothers Dante Ghi of Charleston, SC and James Theodor Ghi of Crestview, Fla, his Aunt, Bernice Secrest of Sunbury, PA; as well as his nieces, Lindsay Waddell and (Shaun) Waddell of Sumter, SC, Taya Rose Waddell of Sumter, Haley Signorino of Erie ,PA, Amanda May of Charleston, SC and Nephew, William Rowan Waddell of Sumter, SC.
Allen will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
