Ann Louise (Gaston) Springs

Sumter, SC …. Ann Louise Gaston Springs, age 71, beloved wife of 52 years to Earl Laverne Springs, died on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Prisma Health Tuomey hospital.

Born in Mt. Vernon, IL, she was the daughter of the late Loren Richard Gaston and Nona Louise Jones Gaston.  She was employed as a Consultant with Belk in Sumter for nearly fifteen years.  Ann had a deep love for her family and often said that her grandchildren were the sunshine of her life.  She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Richard Earl Springs of Arlington, VA; her daughter, Amy Nonelle Everhard and husband Kirk of Niceville, FL; a special sister, Debbie Bean of Mobile, AL, and two additional sisters, Becky Rogers and husband Mike of Pueblo, CO, and Melissa Moon and husband Jerry of Crescent, OK, and four grandchildren, Skyler Everhard, Ariana Everhard, Jayde Springs, Parker Springs and her best friend Flavia Manard.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a loving sister, Jeannie Leiser.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025, 1 – 3 PM in the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel.
