Across your area, an individual impersonating a funeral home employee is contacting families and demanding payment over the phone. Please know that we will never call you and ask for payment over the phone. Do not give the caller your information or money! Hang up and call the police. And if you're ever unsure about anything to do with your loved one, please call the funeral home and speak with your funeral director.

Dalzell, S.C……Anthony Scott Parker, age 62, companion of 20 years to Deborah E. Shade, died on Monday, June 10, 2024, at McLeod Regional Medical Center of the Pee Dee.
Born in Heidelberg, Germany, he was the son of Wilma Coker Parker and the late Edward Parker, Jr. Scott worked as a residential painter most of his adult life. He was very dedicated to his craft and took pride in his work. He was an avid South Carolina Gamecock fan, enjoyed fishing, joking around with his family and friends, as well as fixing anything around the house that no longer was working properly. He was always the first person to lend a hand and help others in need. His true joy in life came from spending time with his family and those he loved. He will be remembered as a loving and dedicated companion, father, son, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his longtime companion Deborah and his mother, he is survived by two sons, Dustin Anthony Parker (Kim) of Central, SC, and Tanner Andrews Parker of Sumter, SC; a stepson, Brandon C. Shade (Lauren) of Cinnaminson, NJ; a brother, Shon M. Parker (Dominique) of Navarre Beach, FL; a sister, Debra Holliday of Summerton, SC; three grandchildren, Addison, Landon, and Holden, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by a brother, Barry Allen Parker.
