Aubrey Hatfield, Jr.

Sumter, SC…. Aubrey Hatfield, Jr., age 80, beloved husband of 52 years to Earlene T. Hatfield, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at his residence.

Aubrey was born in Sumter, SC, the son of the late Aubrey Hatfield, Sr. and the late Betty Saunders Hatfield. Aubrey served his country with pride as a member of the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He loved to work with his hands and was a well-known motorcycle mechanic. He had a love for Harley motorcycles and rode all over the US with a group of special friends. Aubrey will be remembered as a loving husband, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his wife, Earlene T. Hatfield, left behind to cherish his memory are his sisters, Karen Hatfield of Aiken, SC, and Becky Williams of Everglades, Florida; his niece Amy H. Moss and her husband Tony of Hagood, SC; his nephews, Hunter Williams and his wife Daniela of Everglades, Florida, and Blake Williams of Everglades, Florida; great niece, Molly M. Reaves and her husband Kodie of Hagood, SC, great nephew Mason Moss of Hagood, SC; sister-in-law, Linda T. Ewing and her husband Martin of Gastonia, NC, and his special friend Jimmy Farrar of Sumter, SC.

In addition to his parents, Aubrey Hatfield, Sr. and Betty Saunders Hatfield, he is preceded in death by his brother, Arthur David Hatfield.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Missy, Sonya, Debbie, and Tammy of Prisma Hospice.
