Beckie Carol (Kendall) McCoy

Sumter, SC… Beckie Carol Kendall McCoy, age 54, beloved wife of 30 years to Mark Allen McCoy, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.

Beckie was born in Myrtle Beach, SC, a daughter of Charles A. Kendall and the late Glenda Ann Pointe. Beckie was full of life and found her greatest joy in the outdoors. She loved fishing, gardening, and riding motorcycles, embracing every opportunity to be outside and on the move. Her heart was especially tender toward animals, and she cared for many cats throughout her life. Among them, Caesar, Loki, and Six held an extra‑special place in her heart. Along with her cats, she adored her two hogs, who brought her endless laughter and companionship.

For 3½ years, she was a proud member of the Black Dragons Riding Club in Lexington, SC, where she formed lasting friendships and created unforgettable memories.

Above all, her children were the center of her world. She treasured every moment spent with her children and grandchildren, finding her greatest happiness in their presence.

Beckie will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her vibrant spirit and the love she shared will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her husband, Mark, left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Amanda Morris and her husband Josh, Charlotte Hassler and her husband Lonnie, Jamie Marie, and Ashliegh McCoy and her husband Brian Lloyd, all of Sumter, her sons; Mickel McCoy and his wife Liela of Manning and Kirk McCoy of Charleston, her father; Charles A. Kendall, Sr. and his wife Joanne of Alabama, her brother; Charles Kendall, Jr. and his wife Emelyn of Georgia, stepbrother; Jaye Haag and his wife Pastor Deborah Haag of Georgia, stepsisters; Tamara Gibbons and her husband Frank of West Virginia and Tiffanie Smith of Alabama, and her grandchildren; Zoey, Sydney, Addison, Corben, Kameron, Kayleigh, Dana and Quinn, and her nephews, Cody and Cameron. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at 1:00 pm at the family home.
