Blease Franklin Fadden

Sumter, SC…Blease Franklin Fadden, age 64, affectionately known as "B-Frank" was born on December 9, 1955, the only child of the late Blease Fadden and Mary Williams Fadden.  On Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at the William Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center in Columbia, South Carolina, B-Frank peacefully experienced his transition from labor to reward.

In his early youth he joined the Jehovah Missionary Baptist Church and later in life became a member of Salem Baptist Church.

B-Frank was educated in the public schools of Sumter, South Carolina graduating from Sumter High School in 1974.  He joined the Army in 1976 serving his country until 1982.  After leaving the military he began working for Lowes of Sumter retiring after 20 years of dedicated service.  His last two long term employments were with independent trucking companies, and as a fork lift operator for Honda in Florence, South Carolina until his health began to fail.

B-Frank enjoyed the outdoors, was an avid fisherman, gardener and all-around handyman.  He loved adventure and in his younger days, looked forward to riding his motorcycle and taking to the open road to explore.  He was a quiet reflective man who enjoyed the simple life and was willing to lend a hand and help others whenever possible.  He was never a stranger to hard work, which he learned from his parents.  He was a dedicated husband to his wife of 37 years, Fair Perdita Jackson Fadden and a supportive, loving, and concerned son-in-law, unselfishly helping his wife with the care of his mother-in-law, Pauline Walker Jackson until her death.

B-Frank leaves to cheris his memory, his wife, Fair Fadden; brother-in-law, Albertus Jackson, Jr. of Sumter, SC; sister-in-law, Katherlyn Veronica Jackson Walker of Las Vegas, Nevada; two nephews, Lovell Walker and Antonio Jackson, both of Las Vegas, Nevada; three nieces, Teresa Robinson and Raven Alexis Wright of Sumter, SC and Naje Owens (Caleb) of Ohio; Cousins, C.A. and Joye Wilson of Sumter, SC, Janelle Wilson and Corinne Thompson Wilson of Columbia, SC and Caitlyn Wilson of New York.
