Bruce Eric Crawshaw

Sumter, SC…. Bruce Eric Crawshaw, age 74, beloved husband of forty-five years to Patricia Ann Crawshaw, died on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at his residence.

Born in Mount Clemens, MI, he was the son of the late Monroe Crawshaw and Mary Jane Nelson. He was also raised by a wonderful stepfather, the late George Nelson. Bruce was a long time member of the Northside Memorial Baptist Church. He served in the United Stated Navy for four years before devoting his working years to construction as the owner of BP Builders. Recently Bruce had become fascinated with ancestry, studying where his family had come from and the story that their history told. He was an avid reader, especially war books and true crime. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and friend. 

In addition to his wife he is survived by; one son, Christopher Crawshaw and his wife Marianne, of Dalzell and his sister, Crystal Crawshaw of Reno, Nevada.

In addition to his parents and stepfather he is preceded in death by; two brothers, Tommy Crawshaw and David Crawshaw; and two children, Nikki Gahimer and Greg Gahimer.

A celebration of life visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, from 1:00 - 2:00 pm at Bullock Funeral Home.

The inurnment will follow the service on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at 3:00 pm at Ft. Jackson National Cemetery with military honors.
