Across your area, an individual impersonating a funeral home employee is contacting families and demanding payment over the phone. Please know that we will never call you and ask for payment over the phone. Do not give the caller your information or money! Hang up and call the police. And if you're ever unsure about anything to do with your loved one, please call the funeral home and speak with your funeral director.

In Loving Memory of Candace Bundy
Katy, TX …. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Candace Nicole Bundy (Gainey) who left this world at the age of 48 after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Born and raised in South Carolina, she was a true Southern soul, known for her intelligence, wit, and fierce independence. Candy was a workhorse—always giving her best, whether it was at home or at work. If anyone was in need, she would selflessly offer the last of whatever she had, never asking for anything in return.
Her family was everything to her. She is the proud mother of three - Zayn Taylor (Andrea), Ashleigh (Brice), and Alexander - all whom she loved more than words could ever express. Her role as a grandmother to Addison filled her heart with joy. She is also survived by her husband Bryan, who brought her immense comfort, and her parents, Claudia and Wayne who she loved unconditionally. She leaves behind a legacy of love and memories with her sisters Michelle, Amanda, Danielle, Dionne, Brittany, and Brooke, and her brothers Cody and Dion - along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Candy was preceded in death by her beloved brother Chris, her grandmother Marian, her aunts Ammie, Lydia, and Rosa, and her two nephews, Gabe and Tracy. While their absence leaves a hole in our hearts, we take comfort in knowing they are now reunited with her.
Though her time with us was short, her impact was immeasurable. She taught us all the true meaning of love, sacrifice, and strength. Her memory will forever be carried in the hearts of her family and friends, and the lessons she taught us will continue to guide those lucky enough to know her.
