Sumter, SC… Charles Randal “Randy” Brock, age 68, beloved husband of 40 years to the late Janice Ford Brock, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024, in Bennettsville, SC
Born in Bennettsville, SC, he was the son of the late Charles Edward Brock and Xina Marguerite Evans Brock. A man of strong Christian faith, Randy was a member of Bethesda Church of God in Sumter, SC. He had a servant’s heart and served his church in many different capacities, including being a commander for the Royal Rangers. Randy was a hard-working man that loved his family and friends. He was an avid Gamecocks fan and enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing with his boys. He will be remembered as a very loving father, grandfather, and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by three sons, Andrew C. Brock of Bowling Green, KY, Patrick F. Brock and his wife Samantha of Florence, SC, and Joshua R. Brock and his wife Chelsea of Dalzell, SC, and four grandchildren, Landon Brown, Charlotte Brock, Benjamin Brock, and Axel Brock.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at 11:00 am at Bethesda Church of God with Rev. H. Albert Sims officiating. The interment will immediately follow the service at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends, one hour prior to the service, on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 10:00 – 11:00 am at Bethesda Church of God.
