Elgin, SC…Charles Matthew Watson, age 34, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Prisma Health Richland.
Born in Columbia, SC, he was the son of Howard Ray Watson Jr. and Vivian Ann Jacobs Watson. Matt enjoyed working in his garden and he loved animals. He loved to cook and worked as a chef. Matt enjoyed watching all of the cooking shows on TV. He will be remembered as a very loving son, brother, uncle and friend and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Surviving, in addition to his parents are three brothers, Howard Ray Watson III and his wife Carrie of Elgin, Andrew Watson and his wife Whitney of Lugoff and Donald “Donnie” Thomas Watson of Elgin; two sisters, Lisa Watson Hite and her husband David of Elgin and Amanda Watson Therrien and her husband James of Norfolk, VA; seven Nephews and two nieces.
Matt was preceded in death by a nephew, Zachery Kirkland.
Services will be announced at a later date.
