Christer Lars Olaf Jorudd

Sumter, SC….. Christer Lars Olaf Jorudd, age 75, beloved husband of 12 years to Christa Benjamin Jorudd, died on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.

Christer was born in Stockholm, Sweden, a son of the late Lars Albert Jorudd and Maud Olivia Bjorklund. Christer was an avid off-road racer in Sweden. He enjoyed watching his favorite teams, the Chicago Bears and the Chicago Black Hawks. He loved to garden and enjoyed spending time in Charleston, SC. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Surviving are his sons, Christer Jorudd II and his wife Erina from Michigan, Daniel Jorudd and his wife Heidi of Illinois, Devin Jorudd of Charleston, SC, and Chandler Jorudd of Charleston, SC; Daughter Jennica Jorudd and her wife Stephanie of London; grandchildren, Adriana Kaysa Jorudd, Christer Lars Jorudd III, Mick Jorudd, Bjorn Hunter Jorudd, Gunnar Giancarlo Jorudd, Axel Lorenzo Jorudd,  Samuel Anthony Jorudd, Jaxon Daniel Jorudd, Isabella Anne Jorudd, Lars Petrus Jorudd,  sister Ewa Jorudd of Sweden, and his special furry companions, Rorie his shepherd mix and his cat Curry.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved Collie, Ladson
