Christopher Armstrong Obituary

Sumter, SC.............Christopher Michael Armstrong, age 35, died on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Prisma Health Toumey Hospital, with family at his side.

Born September 17, 1989, in Ft. Worth, TX, he was the son of Susan Terese Dunn Armstrong and the late MSgt. Christopher Donald Armstrong.  Chris was always full of life.  He especially loved the outdoors, duck hunting, fishing with the children and the game of hockey.  His true passion in life was spending time with his family.  He had great confidence in everything that he did, and this showed evident in his life with Ashley and her children.  He will be remembered as a very loving son, brother, fiancé, father, uncle, nephew, grandson and friend.  He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.

Surviving in addition to his mother are, a brother, Shawn Armstrong and his wife Morgan of Florence, SC; Fiancée, Ashley Skinner and their children, Alayna and Lawson; six uncles, David Dunn and his wife Freida of Sumter, SC, Jim Dunn and his wife Judy of Smithfield, VA, Al Dunn and his wife Sara Louise of Lexington, SC, John Dunn and his wife Vicky of Simpsonville, SC, Ken Armstrong and his wife Carrie of Dearborn, MI, and Donald Armstrong and his wife Kerry of Whitmore Lake, MI; an aunt, Terry Ann Armstrong of Dearborn, MI; Paternal Grandmother, Patricia Armstrong of Brighton MI; two nieces, Mary Harper and Ellison, and a nephew Wells.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by grandfather, Donald Armstrong and maternal grandparents, Alfred and Mary Sue Dunn

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025, at 1:00 pm at St. Anne and St. Jude Roman Catholic Church.  The interment will follow the service in the St. Lawrence Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 10:30-12:30 pm at Bullock Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Shawn Armstrong, Steven Dunn, Taylor Geddings, Cory Glasscock, Joseph Mangum, and Clay Mixon.
